Living most of my life on the North Fork of Long Island, New York.
I consider myself lucky! What better place to spark my
creativity which began when I was young. Sewing, crocheting and
crafts.
In June 2018 I began experimenting with a palette of many
acrylic colors on canvas in my tranquil setting-simple flowers at
first. I wasn't sure how I would manage as its difficult to hold a brush
steady as I suffer with Essential Tremor. However, I was
amazed at my results and the love of my new found talent. I've
never taken any formal art classes and I'm self taught.
Painting is always a challenge which makes for a stronger desire
to complete. Each piece is done from photographs I have taken
with my camera. I enjoy capturing the beauty in every day life to
create memories. Sometimes I combine different photos for a
touch of special interest. Painting has brought out a new
perception of detail in me.
My paintings are my passion and my joy. I hope it means as much
to you as it means to me.
